Thomas Loudon leads and coordinates the production of journalistic stories for Kids Reunited. He is co-founder and director of the VJM Foundation, the Cartoon Movement, VJ Movement, the Times of Migration and Reporters Under 18. He brings a background of more than 20 years of international reporting to the table, working as a video journalist. Thomas is a University teacher of journalism at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
Arend Jan van den Beld is the liaison between all the areas of expertise. He is co-founder and director of the VJM Foundation, the Cartoon Movement, VJ Movement, the Times of Migration and Reporters Under 18. Arend has more than 20 years of experience in this role, working for some of the largest national and international corporations. He also has 7 years of experience in politics.
Flip Schuller was admitted to the Dutch bar in 1996 and he is specialized in (international) asylum and immigration law. Flip is a guest lecturer at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam and teaches at the lawyer and judges training centers on immigration and public order and national security. Over the past few years he acted as an asylum and immigration lawyer and witnesses at the International Criminal Court in the Hague. Flip was the legal representative in some national landmark cases about national security and countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan (so called 1F cases) and Russia (Chechnya). Flip was appointed by the Council of Europe in 2014 to the Committee of Experts on Asylum and the European Convention of Human Rights.
